Young Entrepreneurial Scholars (YES) Program

The YES Program is a year-long effort to recruit and sustain students' interest in the field of accounting by exposing them to the many facets of the profession. It is a collaborative program of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Milwaukee Chapter, the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), and the Pre-College Divisions of the University of Wisconsin (UW) Oshkosh and Milwaukee. The Young Entrepreneurial Scholars Program was established by Mr. William Coleman, Dr. Muriel Hawkins, Mr. Leroy Schmidt, and Mr. Allan Hartman to give qualified minority high school students a career-enhancing experience through exposures into accounting and other business professions.

Firm members help coordinate this program and work directly with the students in the office and in the field.
