Summerfest

  • Summerfest is the world's largest music festival. It takes place each year on the Lake Michigan shoreline near downtown Milwaukee.
  • Coleman & Williams, Ltd. is a Platinum Member of the Premier Seats Program. Firm members have access to section 2 seats, preferred parking and private hospitality areas for shows at the Marcus Amphitheater.

AIDS Walk Wisconsin

  • Proceeds from AIDS Walk Wisconsin benefit the AIDS Resource Center of Wisconsin (ARCW). The ARCW Medical Center offers integrated medical, dental, and mental health services for people living with HIV and AIDS.
  • Firm members contribute to and walk in this event.

Briggs & Al's Run & Walk for Children's Hospital

  • This is an 8K event winding through downtown Milwaukee which is designed to provide direct support to children at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.
  • Firm members run and walk in in this event.

Wisconsin Women's Business Initiative Corporation (WWBIC)

  • WWBIC is a statewide economic development corporation that provides business education and financing to Wisconsin's entrepreneurs and small business owners.
  • Coleman & Williams, Ltd. provides support to WWBIC and members participate in an annual luncheon.

Neighborhood House of Milwaukee

  • This organization provides early childhood services and after school programs for Milwaukee's youth. They also offer adult and family programs for people of all ages.
  • Firm members support and attend their annual fundraising dinner.

Young Entrepreneurial Scholars (YES) Program

  • The YES Program is a year-long effort to recruit and sustain students' interest in the field of accounting by exposing them to the many facets of the profession. It is a collaborative program of the National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) Milwaukee Chapter, the Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA), and the Pre-College Divisions of the University of Wisconsin (UW) Oshkosh and Milwaukee. The Young Entrepreneurial Scholars Program was established by Mr. William Coleman, Dr. Muriel Hawkins, Mr. Leroy Schmidt, and Mr. Allan Hartman to give qualified minority high school students a career-enhancing experience through exposures into accounting and other business professions.
  • Firm members help coordinate this program and work directly with the students in the office and in the field.
